Better-For-You Baking Powder

If you are concerned about the quality of the foods you eat, this is a safer way to go than using commercially prepared baking powders, which sometimes use aluminum salts.

  • 2 t. cream of tartar
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. cornstarch

Simply mix these few ingredients together and store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. This recipe can be doubled or tripled, but only make what you plan to use in the near future.
